Trama: Figlia illegittima di papa Alessandro VI, Lucrezia Borgia è divenuta celebre nella storia europea come una nobildonna sanguinaria e assetata di potere. Sposata in prime nozze con Giovanni Sforza (un matrimonio che verrà successivamente annullato dal padre), diviene moglie, prima di Alfonso di Aragona (che sarà assassinato dal fratello di Lucrezia, Cesare), poi di Alfonso d'Este, con cui vivrà a Ferrara, circondata da poeti e pittori. Inseguita tutta la vita dal sospetto di aver avuto relazioni incestuose con il padre e con il fratello, Lucrezia muore di setticemia all'età di trentanove anni. // Pope Alexander VI's Illegitimate daughter, Lucrezia Borgia became famous in European history as a bloody and power-crazed noblewoman.
