Press release e informazioni sulla serie! // Bonnie & Clyde's press release and infos. CITAZIONE"Bonnie & Clyde," an upcoming miniseries on History and Lifetime TV and A&E Networks will tell the story of the infamous crime couple from the 1930s. The televised film stars Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger. Oscar winners Holly Hunter and William Hurt also star in the film about the fabled criminals.
The four-hour, two-night event is planned to debut sometime this fall, according to press information from Lifetime Networks. The mini-series will be broadcast on History Channel, Lifetime TV and A&E in a simulcast, according to Nancy Dubue, President of Entertainment and Media for A&E Networks.
“Love and bullets are such a dangerous combination – and the basis of fascinating storytelling,” said Dubuc, in a press release. “The legendary journey of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow took America by storm during the 1930s and eight decades later they continue to captivate, creating an unprecedented opportunity to deliver an amazing story to our powerhouse networks HISTORY, Lifetime and A&E.”
Emile Hirsch ("Into the Wild") and Holliday Grainger ("The Borgias") lead the cast as Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. Holliday Grainger portrayed Lucretia Borgia in Showtime's historic drama "The Borgias."

CITAZIONEI’ll be playing Clyde Barrow in a “Bonnie and Clyde” miniseries airing December 1st and 2nd on the History Channel, A&E, and Lifetime. Bonnie is Holliday Grainger, who’s on that show, “The Borgias.” Bruce Beresford directed. He did “Driving Miss Daisy” so this is a classy production and we had a great time making it.

A parte Hirsch, hanno tutti espressioni troppo trallallà per gente che sta puntando la pistola contro un ipotetico bersaglio. XD La Hyland pare che stia posando per un photoshoot per Cioé, LOL. . -

Ho di nuovo la terribile sensazione che, al fine di far risaltare Holly, ancora una volta protagonista della serie, abbiano scelto un'attrice troppo bruttina per la parte della cognata di Bonnie - che non era poi tanto carina, ovviamente.
Un po' come è stato fatto con Lucrezia e Caterina, o Charlotte: le due donne più vicine ad esser le sue rivali, non potevano rubarle l'attenzione, non sul piano estetico almeno. Qui non credo che Bonnie - non sono un'esperta della sua storia però, e nemmeno so quanto fedelmente la metteranno in scena e cosa invece cambieranno... - debba competere con altre donne per attirare in maniera esclusiva l'attenzione di Clyde; questo, però, non toglie il fatto che, magari, su un altro piano, si è cercato di puntare tutto sulla star femminile, per l'appunto Holly. Mi rendo conto da sola che faccio sempre la solita figura della complottista, ma a mia discolpa c'è da dire che trucchetti del genere sono molto comuni - del resto, per la massa, è più facile esser attirato dal personaggio con l'estica migliore.. -
